The Definitive Chivas Regal Review
Chivas Regal is a brand that is known all across the world. It as a brand of alcohol that is simply loved and adored by everyone, and rightly so. Chivas Regal was introduced by the Chivas Brothers, who established this brand at the turn of the 19th century (1801) as a grocery store in Aberdeen, Scotland. Gradually, the company gained a solid reputation for the luxury goods that it produced. As a result of such recognition, they started a premium blended scotch whisky to meet growing demand from their customers for a more refined whisky than was available at that time. Within no time, they cemented their reputation in the market for quality high-end quality whiskey. Even today, they are considered to be the standard-bearer for premium blended Scotch whiskey. Pernod Ricard now owns the company. The distillery in which the whiskey was made is known as Strathisla distillery(founded in 1786), located in Keith, Moray. This is the Speyside whiskey producing region of Scotland.

The tasting
notes of this whiskey are marvelous. Chivas Regal
12-Year-Old Blended Scotch Whiskey is loved by everyone who loves to sip on
scotch. This whiskey's initial aroma is delightful, bears notes of butterscotch
entwined with vanilla and herbal notes of lemongrass and heather. Slowly and
gradually, one notices more and more woody tones with pleasant scents of sandalwood
and willow mixed.
There is a
bit of sweet maltiness that comes through with a small dab of grainy spice.
There is also light spicy heat of subtle oak and grain. There are also flavors
of lemon citrus and hints of freshly sliced yellow apples and pears as well.
You’ll even taste some glimmers of light malt and bitter almond-like flavor.
